A: Yes! Alarm Express offers support 24 hours a day, every day of the year. If you require emergency assistance, please call us immediately and we will provide the appropriate support to assist.
Q: If my third party product doesn’t function properly, how can Alarm Express help?
A: All of the alarm systems and security products stocked by Alarm Express are covered by manufacturers’ warranties. If your item becomes defective within the respective warranty’s timeframe, Alarm Express will work with you to have the item replaced.
Q: Alarm Express set up my back-to-base monitoring, should I call you before I go on holiday?
A: It isn’t necessary to call us but we recommend that you do – this will allow us to be kept up-to-date as to any special instructions you may have and give us the means to accommodate your security requirements more efficiently.
Q: Will my alarm system continue to work if the power gets cut?
A: Depending on the system you have in place, most of the alarms we install will have an external power supply included, allowing the unit to function for up to 8 hours. If you expect the power to remain turned off for longer than this, please contact us so that we can make the necessary arrangements to have your battery units changed over before your security is compromised.
Q: What should I do if I set off my own alarm system?
A: Call us immediately and quote your access code (password) if your alarm is monitored by Alarm Express. There will be no additional costs incurred if you call us before the appropriate crime-prevention measures are applied.
Q: Does it cost extra for the alarm response service?
A: When an Alarm Response unit is dispatched to your property, following the trigger of one of your alarm systems, a small fee will become payable. Should you call us before the guard is released, no fee is payable.
